About Your Role
- Highly skilled in painting: base coats, tri-coats, solids, metallics and clear coats
- Must be able to blend adjacent panels and paint correct vehicles
- Ensure the paint area, prep station, paint booth, paint storage and paint mixing area are clean.
- Apply paper, masking tape to protect non-painted surfaces.
- Preparing the color tint to match or blend paint color.
- Mixing all paint and chemical according to manufactures direction/specifications.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- A minimum of 5 years for professional auto motive paint experience
- High school diploma, trade school or ASE certification in refinishing preferred
- Ability to work well independently or in a team environment.
- Good communication skills – both written and verbal
- Good organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
- Must be able to lift, carry, and place merchandise and supplies up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Frequent reaching overhead and below the knees, including squatting, bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting.
- Be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present.
- Safely operates a motor vehicle.
