Overview

Oversee and direct all aspects of delivery, logistics and transportation for PharMerica.

Responsibilities

• Directs outsource delivery contracts and relationships, working with field organization
• Develop, train, and communicate standard policy and practices for outsourced delivery and internal drivers and vehicles
• Review and approve invoices for accuracy and central payment
• Report on delivery performance to standards relative to costs and quality
• Analytical analysis to determine cost savings and route optimization
• Implement outsource delivery program
• Issue/problem resolution related to delivery
• Performs other tasks as assigned
• Conducts job responsibilities in accordance with the standards set out in the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, its policies and procedures, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, applicable federal and state laws, and applicable professional standards

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of delivery logistics experience at a management/director level with multiple locations
• Experience with contract negotiation and outsourced carriers
• Knowledge of DOT and hazardous material regulations
