The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, engineering, strategy development, and warehouse & automation project execution, with a proven track record of driving operational excellence and innovation.

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director of Operations to lead our Supply Chain Automation team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, engineering, strategy development, and warehouse & automation project execution, with a proven track record of driving operational excellence and innovation.
- You will lead the execution of warehouse and automation implementation projects including engineering, installation, and warranty services
- Identify talent and process gaps within project execution teams; implement strategies to improve delivery capabilities
- Develop standardized processes and identify tooling requirements to enhance execution efficiency
- Manage cross-functional teams and oversee innovative engineering solution implementation
- Lead departmental and project budgeting, resource allocation, and scheduling
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Ensure project compliance with applicable industry standards and regulations
- Analyze key performance metrics to identify and implement operational improvements
- Provide leadership, coaching, and professional development to project execution teams
- Monitor industry trends and integrate emerging technologies into operations strategy
- You have a bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership, management, engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in the warehouse, automation, or logistics industry, including at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Proven ability to lead high-performing, cross-functional teams
- Experience with logistics systems, warehouse automation, and related technologies
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 30%
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Supply Chain Operations Reference Professional (SCOR-P)
- Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB)
- Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams on system integration projects
- Experience defining and aligning execution strategies with senior leadership
- Strong project management skills, with experience managing scope, schedule, and budgets
- Financial acumen to support department-level P&L and resource forecasting
- Ability to identify and resolve project process inefficiencies and quality gaps
- Strong leadership in project team development and performance management
- Experience supporting sales pursuits with technical expertise and project estimates
- Effective communicator with strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Capable of defining department goals and supporting individual development plans
