The Project Manager is responsible for leading projects from initiation to closure, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. This role involves managing cross-functional teams, mitigating risks, and serving as the primary point of contact for stakeholders to drive project success.
Position Duties, Responsibilities, And Competencies
TALKING: Especially where one must frequently convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly, or quickly.
AVERAGE HEARING: Able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information.
REPETITIVE MOTION: Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
AVERAGE VISUAL ABILITIES: Average, ordinary, visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products or operate machinery.
PHYSICAL STRENGTH: Sedentary work; sitting most of the time. Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally. (Almost all office jobs.)
WORKING CONDITIONS
NONE: No hazardous or significantly unpleasant conditions (such as in a typical office).

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
Able to deal with very difficult concepts and complex variables.
MATHEMATICS ABILITY: Ability to use advanced algebra, exponents, logarithms, linear equations, quadratic equations, mathematical induction and binomial theorem, permutations, calculus, and/or analytic geometry.
Able to perform basic statistical calculations including frequency distributions, reliability and validity of tests, normal curve, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, chi-square application and sampling theory and factor analysis.
LANGUAGE ABILITY: Ability to read periodicals, journals, manuals, dictionaries, thesauruses, and encyclopedias.
Ability to prepare business letters, proposals, summaries, and reports using prescribed format and conforming to all rules of punctuation, grammar, diction, and style.
Ability to conduct training, communicate at panel discussions and to make professional presentations.

- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Lead and motivate project teams, assigning tasks and ensuring accountability.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Communicate project status, updates, and challenges to stakeholders through reports and presentations.
- Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and organizational standards.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and expectations to ensure satisfaction and alignment.
- Drive continuous improvement by evaluating project outcomes and lessons learned.
- Works a regular and predictable schedule.
- Must be sufficiently fluent in English to process work and business transactions.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of project management experience, with a proven track record of delivering projects.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, PMI).
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Advanced proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, or Asana).
- PMP, CAPM, or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with credit union operations, regulatory requirements, and member service priorities is a plus.
