Overview
What You Will Do
Responsible for all duties associated with operating Diagnostic Imaging Services to include budgeting, marketing, equipment acquisitions, and supervision of staff. Responsible for Departments Diagnostic Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Vascular Interventional Radiology, Cat Scan, along with outpatient sites. Staffing and operations for PET/CT joint venture fall under Nuclear Medicine Service Line. This Director will also be leading over 100 FTEs at a site that performs approximately 200,000 procedures annually. Accountable for managing $19 million in expenses that generate over $196 million in revenue.

What You Will Do
Responsible for all duties associated with operating Diagnostic Imaging Services to include budgeting, marketing, equipment acquisitions, and supervision of staff. Responsible for Departments Diagnostic Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Vascular Interventional Radiology, Cat Scan, along with outpatient sites. Staffing and operations for PET/CT joint venture fall under Nuclear Medicine Service Line. Major Accountabilites
- Develops a long-range operational plan relative to services, programs, capital and human resource planning.
- Develops an annual capital equipment and replacement plan. Recommends equipment modification, new equipment, and necessary renovations and construction projects. Develops the annual operation and capital equipment budget.
- Collects, generates, analyzes, and distributes various reports, documents, and statistical data as required.
- Follows up on error correction and establishes corrective action to address identified problems with patients, physicians, and employees.
- Approves various departmental purchase, product evaluations, space and equipment utilization as determined by hospital policy.
- Evaluates all divisions’ quality of services and patient/employee safety using various monitors to rate performance. Makes various recommendations for quality improvements.
- Maintains proper liaison between hospital administration, medical staff, employees, and contractual groups.
- Contributes to the need to alter existing services or create new services based upon observed or marketing trends and surveys.
- Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology. BS in Business, Healthcare Management or other related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience required in radiology. Minimum of 2 years previous supervisory experience.
- Must possess a minimum of one technical registration through the ARRT.
