Would you like to use your accounting and finance experience in a highly visible role to make a difference? We are looking for a Sr. Manager, General Accounting to join our Controllership team! In this role, you will be responsible for leading and supporting accounting team members in day-to-day tasks and focusing on global process improvement projects. This is a hybrid role and requires the ability to work onsite 3 days per week.

A day in the life of the Sr. Manager, General Accounting

  • Lead the day-to-day accounting of general ledger accounting activities within the Controllership Organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand accounting processes and identify continuous improvement opportunities, including but not limited to process enhancements, system implementations, etc.
  • Act as a key liaison with internal and external auditors to assist in their completion of an efficient audit.
  • Work proactively with and provide timely feedback with 3rd party accounting support.
  • Understand new accounting standards, and in partnership with the Technical Accounting team, assess process and control implications.
  • Provide overall support and analysis to executive management by investigating accounting questions, issues, and judgments and by partnering with team members from other business divisions to assist with accounting questions.
  • Build relationships and regular communication with operational leaders to provide direct and timely assistance on matters that have accounting implications.
  • Monitor compliance dashboards and communicate status, risks and opportunities to the Controllership organization leaders.

What you’ll Bring:

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in accounting and finance roles of increasing responsibility.
  • A minimum of 3 years of public accounting (Big 4 experience preferred).
  • Experience with a large ERP system (SAP and Blackline experience preferred)
  • Must possess a deep technical knowledge of US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is considered a plus.
  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting; Certified Public Accountant designation is preferred.
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated success in the development of staff and others toward improved skills, independence, and self-initiative.
  • Ability to earn trust and credibility within the organization, and capable of developing effective business relationships with all members of the global accounting organization leadership team.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to make sound business decisions.

The base salary range for this position is $119,300.00 to $178,900.00. The hiring range will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, and market conditions. Additionally, employees may be eligible for annual and long-term incentives as part of their overall compensation package.
