Direct oversight of senior functional leaders (7+ direct reports). Full accountability for organizational performance, talent management, and leadership development. Ensure compliance with internal policies, safety standards, and applicable legal requirements.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership to the SYSTEMS MEP subsidiary, ensuring alignment with Cerris’ mission and long-term objectives.
- Lead the development and execution of multi-year strategic plans to achieve competitive advantage and sustained growth.
- Develop and manage comprehensive annual business plans and budgets, including revenue goals, staffing plans, profitability targets, and backlog strategies.
- Oversee financial reporting functions, including forecasting, performance analytics, and variance reporting to corporate leadership.
- Foster a high-performing, values-based culture grounded in craftsmanship, entrepreneurial spirit, integrity, and collaboration.
- Monitor industry trends, market shifts, and competitive dynamics to drive responsive strategy and innovation.
- Cultivate strong client relationships to support repeat business and strategic partnerships.
- Lead organizational design, talent acquisition, and workforce development initiatives, including succession planning and leadership readiness.
- Direct enterprise-wide risk management practices, including financial, contractual, operational, and compliance risk mitigation.
- Ensure robust internal controls in key functional areas such as estimating, procurement, safety, and project execution.
- Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, project delivery, and client satisfaction.
- Represent the subsidiary in industry associations, community activities, and stakeholder engagements to elevate brand presence and influence.
- Fulfill other executive responsibilities or special initiatives as designated by the Board or parent company leadership.

Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline required.
- Master’s degree (MBA or related field) preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership in the construction industry, preferably within the MEP sectors.
- Strong field and project management background strongly preferred.
- Proven executive leadership experience with responsibility for P&L, organizational strategy, and operational growth.
- Visionary and strategic thinker with a strong orientation toward innovation and measurable results.
- Exceptional leadership presence with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced financial acumen and experience managing complex project portfolios and multimillion-dollar budgets.
- Client-centric approach with strong business development instincts.
- Decisive, adaptable, and composed under pressure in dynamic and complex environments.
