Southfield Village is seeking a dedicated Grounds Maintenance professional to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring our grounds are well-kept, safe, and inviting, enhancing the overall experience for everyone who visits our facility. Note: This position is not eligible for benefits and is considered temporary status, generally 8-9 weeks (mid-May to mid-August).

Duties Include

• Weeding, watering, trimming, digging, planting, and other duties as assigned.
• Interact with other personnel to coordinate the use of, maintenance, and repair of grounds equipment, and tools.
• Operate grounds maintenance power equipment including hedge trimmer, edger, sod cutter, sweeper, hand power tools.
• Inspect and verify that the equipment is in safe operating condition; maintain grounds areas in a safe, clean, and orderly condition.
  
  

Job Requirements/Qualifications

• None required. A willingness to learn is needed.
• State work permit, as required.
  
  

Schedule

• Part-Time, Monday - Friday
• Hours - Flexible Between 7:30a - 4:30p
