The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs routine and advanced imaging procedures, supports team members, and ensures efficient patient flow.
- Flexibility to work various shifts and locations as needed.
- Responsibilities include troubleshooting equipment, participating in QA, maintaining safety protocols, and adhering to imaging standards.
- Maintains patient confidentiality, promotes staff development, and collaborates with physicians to enhance patient care.
- Ensures accurate image storage and follows PACS procedures; reports equipment issues promptly.
- Requires graduation from an accredited Radiology Technology program, ARRT or NMTCB certification, state licensure, and BLS certification.
- Preferred one year of clinical nuclear medicine experience and basic computer skills.
- Work schedule is per diem, with a flexible work schedule and shifts; performs duties in compliance with regulatory standards.
