Experienced nurse practicing independently in a similar clinical setting, providing routine and complex care with long-term planning and contingency management.
- Utilizes nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation) to deliver evidence-based care.
- Addresses patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs; educates patients and families.
- Administers medications, monitors effects, and documents care accurately.
- Assesses learning needs and provides patient education.
- Plans for patient throughput, discharge, and transfer to optimize flow.
- Manages unit operations, staffing, equipment, and supplies responsibly.
- Ensures safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, promoting positive patient outcomes.
- Maintains clinical documentation, interprets patient charts, and ensures accuracy.
- Requires a BSN (preferred), RN license, BLS certification, and 1-year relevant experience (preferred).
- Position is per diem, with flexible scheduling.
