The Home Infusion RN provides specialized infusion therapy in patients' homes and other settings, ensuring safe and effective care for adult patients.
- Responsibilities include administering IVIG, monoclonal antibodies, enzyme replacement, and clotting factors following physician orders.
- Assess and monitor patients, educate them and families, and collaborate with healthcare teams to develop personalized care plans.
- Accurately document care activities and outcomes, and stay current with industry best practices.
- Requires a valid RN license, at least 3 years of nursing experience, excellent IV skills, and strong clinical and communication skills.
- Preferred experience in critical care, infusion therapy, pediatrics, and certifications like CRNI.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in home care settings is essential.
