Develops and leads nursing maternal/perinatal initiatives, collaborating with the Maternal Medical Director and regional leaders to implement clinical strategies, policies, and practices aligned with High-Reliability Principles.
- Ensures standardization, evidence-based practices, operational excellence, and optimal patient care performance across the region.
- Establishes strategies for service line growth, education, competency, physician collaboration, outcomes, and resource utilization to improve safety, efficiency, compliance, and patient experience.
- Requires a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, current RN license, Neonatal Resuscitation, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certifications.
- Minimum 5 years of clinical perinatal nursing experience, with preferred leadership experience.
- Works under supervision of the Chief Nursing Executive, with flexibility for travel and schedule adjustments, in a clean, well-lighted environment.
- Must have excellent communication, interpersonal skills, computer proficiency, and the ability to handle stressful situations and physical demands. Reasonable accommodations available.
