The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers patient care tailored to the patient’s age group, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency in line with unit standards.
- Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current RN license and BLS certification, with additional certifications obtained within 6 months if not already held.
- Possesses current knowledge of patient care, communicates effectively, and respects patient rights.
- Supervised by the Patient Care Director or Manager, working in environments with exposure to infectious diseases and x-rays.
- Requires physical ability for emergency response, extensive standing/walking, patient handling, and fine motor skills.
- Works flexible hours in a clean, well-ventilated environment, with potential for stressful situations and schedule changes.
