Outpatient Registered Nurse- RN

The Outpatient RN CAP 1 is an entry-level registered nurse role within the Clinical Advancement Program, responsible for delivering and coordinating competent patient care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for hemodialysis patients.

• Performs patient data collection and treatment adjustments under supervision, documenting in medical records.
• Provides patient and family education, collaborates with the healthcare team, and participates in quality improvement activities.
• Administers medications, initiates emergency responses, and ensures proper lab procedures.
• May supervise or guide patient care staff after meeting experience and training requirements.
• Requires physical ability for heavy lifting, prolonged standing, and equipment handling in a healthcare setting.
  
  

Qualifications include RN licensure, CPR/BLS certification, and recent nephrology or hemodialysis experience preferred. The role involves travel and may require work in diverse locations.
