JOB REQUIREMENTS: The clerk will provide administrative support to
ensure efficient operations, including filing paperwork, responding to
inquiries from families and partner agencies, perform some fiscal
functions, preparing documents for meetings, and managing the court
calendars for the pathologists. Essential Duties Greets public and
vendors in person or by telephone; determines the nature of their
business and provides appropriate information or direction to the
appropriate staff. Interacts with the public in an effective and
courteous manner. Enter, verify, and maintain data in electronic
systems. Drafts letters, forms and reports; transcribes medical
dictations and reports on as needed basis; opens, prioritizes and
processes mail. Receives payments, issues receipts, maintains receipts,
makes necessary deposits and accounts for monies handled. Manages the
court calendar for the pathologists. Maintains department files in an
organized fashion to include electronic record keeping May arrange
meetings including space, time and place, and assists with taking notes
And Minutes For Conferences, Meetings And Functions As Required.
Composes, proofreads and edits documents or materials before submitting
them for signature or review. Performs research and retrieval of records
and data. Acts in a confidential capacity in administrative support
tasks. Team oriented worker who communicates well with others. Performs
related duties as required. May have a role in disaster preparation
and/or disaster recovery efforts as designated; may be required to work
before, during and/or after an emergency. \*\*\*\*\* OTHER EXPERIENCE
AND QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of office procedures. Ability to learn and
apply the specialized knowledge and terminology of the department in
which employed. Knowledge of general bookkeeping. Strong oral and
written communication and presentation skills; Strong interpersonal
skills Knowledge of business English, spelling and grammar. Knowledge of
and ability to utilize a computer and the required software. Ability to
interview and obtain information from the public. Ability to follow oral
and written instructions. Knowledge of the Health Insurance Portability
and Accountability Act. (HIPPA) Ability to handle multiple tasks at once
and prioritize workload. Ability work the required hours of the
