The EEG Tech prepares the patient for testing, administers the test, completes the history and recording for interpretation, completes paperwork for charging of procedures, and maintains equipment and supplies.
Informs the supervisor and/or the medical provider of changes in the patient's condition or abnormalities on the recording.
Performs quality seizure monitoring studies and marks events for physician interpretation.
Ability to observe EEG tracings and respond appropriately to seizure activity.
Ability to recognize artifact and reapplies or replaces appropriate electrodes.
EEG Experience On Nihon Kohden Equipment And Software (preferred)
Minimum two years EEG experience or graduation/certificate from EEG program.
Weekend Hours -
