The Role
Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Lead Graphics, Bunkhouse & JdV, the Graphic Designer is responsible for you will be responsible for overseeing and executing all marketing and retail-related graphic design work under the guidance of the Sr. Manager, Lead Graphics. A key support role, you will collaborate across departments to create integrated marketing and brand-based graphic design and artwork.
A successful candidate in this position will be able to operate within the framework of the Bunkhouse and JdV styles as well as brand guidelines to produce original and engaging visual content. You will effectively manage projects from start to completion, while maintaining positive vendor relationships.
A Graphic Designer must develop and maintain the company’s culture, values and reputation in
the public eye, and with all staff, guests, vendors and partners. Furthermore, the Graphic
Designer must promote the Company’s Vision and Core Values in all actions and decisions.

A Graphic Designer must develop and maintain the company’s culture, values and reputation in
the public eye, and with all staff, guests, vendors and partners. Furthermore, the Graphic
Designer must promote the Company’s Vision and Core Values in all actions and decisions.
Responsibilities will include:
- Layout and maintenance of design standards for general print collateral at all Bunkhouse properties, including menus, business cards, stationary, in-room directories, maps, event collateral, and other graphic items as needed.
- Manage a project budget from initial quotes to final invoicing.
- Update Company materials as needed – for example: Company Handbook and other HR needs, Marketing Presentations, Brand Decks, Email Signatures, etc.
- Create mock-ups for potential retail items - logo placement, color options, etc.
- Liaise with vendors to source custom materials (i.e. stock, matchbooks, envelopes,
- matchbooks).
- Manage the print job process from start to finish including requesting quotes, prepare, send, review and retrieve jobs.
- Conduct press checks as needed.
- Update and maintain resource databases and design guidelines.
- Assist with other graphic design projects as needed.
- Ensure open lines of communication with Corporate and Property teams at all times via email, meetings, etc., to ensure all needs of the company are met.
- Attend relevant meetings.
Qualifications
Experience Required
- College Degree in Visual Communications, Graphic Design, or related field.
- 3+ years related experience in graphic design (Required).
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro).
- Illustration experience in a varied set of styles, with knowledge of color, composition and digital production (Preferred).
- Knowledge of pre-press and different printing processes.
- Proofreading and copy-editing experience.
- Well organized administratively, able to stay on top of workflow organization, file management.
- Creative appreciation for vintage, modern and eclectic styling.
- Organized, orderly and excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work with tight deadlines and shifting needs.
- Ability to work on Mac computers.
