Responsibilities
Job Description
- Fundamental concepts, principles and practices used in the mortgage industry, particularly with Post-Closing process to include Fannie Mae, Retail, Bond, FHA and VA as they relate to Post Closing.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel for pipeline reporting, including data tracking, status updates, filtering, and conditional formatting.
- Proficient in merging, sorting, and deleting pages within PDFs to assemble and organize document packages efficiently.
- Capable of managing inboxes and calendars in a professional setting, including use of rules, categories, and scheduling tools. Proficient in email organization and meeting coordination across teams. Familiar with integrating Outlook tasks and flags for tracking follow-ups and deadlines
- Manage the post-closing process by preparing and shipping completed loan packages to Servicers and Investors in accordance with regulatory and investor guidelines. Review executed closing documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance, identifying any discrepancies or omissions within the final package.
- Conduct thorough review of original recorded mortgage documents and final lender’s title policies to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with investor and regulatory standards. Perform timely follow-up with title companies to resolve outstanding documentation issues or obtain missing items. Maintain meticulous records of document tracking, exceptions, and resolution activities to support post-closing quality control and loan salability.

- Uses clear and effective verbal communications skills with guidance (but not constant supervision) to express ideas, request actions and formulate plans or policies.
