About The Role

The HRBP (Human Resources Business Partner) will own and lead several critical projects and partner with leaders to support employee engagement, employee experience, and our company culture. This role is a champion for our team members and a trusted coach to our people managers.

This position will focus on employee relations, performance management, employee engagement, training, and employment law compliance. It will also include partnerships with the business and leaders on feedback, culture and conduct, employee experience, and regulatory-related deliverables

This full-time, on-site role is based in Scottsdale, AZ.

Key Responsibilities

  • Listen and respond to the ‘voice of the employee’. Act as a safe-sounding board for employees, partner to resolve workplace conflicts, and provide an independent review of performance issues and disputes.
  • Partner with team members throughout the HR organization to communicate and educate on policies, procedures, and compliance. Develop and implement HR policies, processes, and procedures, and regularly review and recommend improvements.
  • Develop our leaders; Provide consultation to managers on people challenges and coach them to be strong people leaders.
  • Provide strategic advice, counsel, and consultative solutions on people management aspects of the business. Partner with managers to provide guidance on our policies and employment law.
  • Assist managers with the execution of HR processes, including performance management and goal setting, corrective actions, employee engagement, retention, employee relations, coaching, training, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.
  • Act as an advocate, focusing on enhancing the quality of leaders and managers, building the workforce's skills and capabilities, and ensuring succession bench strength.
  • Design, coordinate, and facilitate leadership training and development programs.
  • Be strategic and data-driven. Help set and implement a strategy and operating model to better understand and respond to employee needs and concerns. Deliver an exceptional employee experience.
  • Demonstrate a change management mindset through identification of opportunities to enhance the employee experience through education, process improvement, and innovative ideas.
  • Develop and monitor regular and ad-hoc reports to ensure HR metrics are quantified and outcome-driven.
  • Gather and analyze employee relations data. Identify trends and proactively recommend solutions to improve performance, retention, and employee experience.
  • Produce reporting on exit interviews, hotline calls, corrective action documents, and recommend solutions.
  • Assist with additional projects and administrative duties as needed.

Position Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field, AND four (4) years of HR-related experience; OR any equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved
    • Strongly preferred PHR/SHRM-CP Certification
  • Experience: 3+ years of employee-facing HR experience.
  • Skills:
    • Have a strong understanding of employment law.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with employees and management.
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Ability to work well in a team environment and independently.
    • Flexibility to adapt to changes and work in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly Rate: $80,000-$120,000 annually (final offers based on experience, skills, and qualifications).
