PURPOSE

The Administrative Assistant – I.T. will serve as a strong administrative resource for the Information Technology department.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities

The following duties are typical for this job. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

  • Serve as department receptionist and as a “go to” resource for internal and external stakeholders regarding I.T. related inquiries
  • Provide administrative support to the Information Technology department including, but not limited to managing calendars, meeting coordination, making travel arrangements and reconciling credit card statements
  • Monitor and assign incoming requests in the I.T. ticketing system in a timely manner
  • Answer and route hotline assistance calls
  • Reset user passwords and resolve common user issues; escalate elevated issues to the appropriate team member
  • Create communications for distribution
  • Maintain external third-party contracts
  • Coordinate and run department L10 meetings in Traction
  • Maintain inventory system and check out equipment as needed
  • Track compliance of assigned security training

Minimum Education And Experience Required To Perform Essential Functions

  • Two-year degree and two years of relevant administrative support experience
  • Experience in an I.T. setting preferred

  • Strong Microsoft Office knowledge
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
