Job Description Summary
The Logistics Analyst is responsible for supporting the Supply Chain team with administrative tasks and analytics to ensure shipping needs are met timely, cost-effectively and efficiently.
Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Track and trace purchase orders to assure that orders are being shipped in the requested timelines.
- Receive, check PO confirmations and update PO’s accordingly.
- Collaborate with freight forwarders and suppliers to obtain accurate shipment status and dates.
- Utilize Web Portals, EDI, and Supplier communications. Resolve communication errors with help of IT.
- Interface with SAP to obtain accounting and management data; initiates modifications/enhancements to computerized systems.
- Provide analytics and reports on shipment related data and lead time.
- Modify and maintain purchase order changes in SAP for changes in either shipping dates, material, or case quantities.
- Work with our multiple transportation companies’ personnel on various discrepancies that may exist vs EDI/Web Portal/Supplier information received.
- Document PO changes.
- Support purchasing, customs and finance with documentation requests.
- Collaborate with warehouses on delivery schedule, receiving issues and transfers as needed.
- Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be required.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience
- Experience in logistics, inventory replenishment in high volume distribution environment preferred.
- Proficient PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation software.
- Must be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines
- Analytic and Reporting skills
- Utilize sound judgement and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environment
- Knowledge of Beverage Alcohol industry
- Experience with SAP and Transport Management Systems
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone
- Accountable for meeting own targets, work is reviewed periodically.
- Problems encountered will be defined, repetitive, and routing with a solution readily available.

- Salary/Rate Range: $60,000 - $70,000
- This position is eligible to participate in a bonus program. Metrics and level of participation are determined annually.
- This position is eligible for health care benefits, life insurance, time off benefits and participation in the Company’s 401(k) plan
