Job Description
Support the delivery, operational transition, sustainment, and disposition of advanced concepts capabilities to include demonstrations, Rapid Reaction Capabilities, Agile Acquisition construct, prototypes and other procurement methods by: reviewing and staffing Operating Concepts and System Concepts; follow-on buy decisions, sustainment planning and establishment, and system disposal planning; developing Operational /Transitional Acceptance criteria and recommendations.
Prepare leadership for senior joint and service meetings, testimony, and Congressional committee inquiries, supporting Space Control missions, advanced concepts, and planning.
Review and provide technical expertise and recommendations as part of the technical operational transition process for new capabilities.
Conduct capability reviews with USSC, USSF, HAF, SpOC, SSC and Deltas assisting in resolving future system operational and sustainment issues with these organizations.
Develop, support, and coordinate basing and bed-down activities involving new and deployable capabilities to include conducting site surveys.
Provide technical expertise and recommendations for Special Technical Operations (STO) planning/processes for employment of mission capabilities supporting multiple COCOMs.
Provide technical expertise and recommendations in rapid development, acquisition, and fielding of capabilities to meet urgent operational need and assist in the DOTMLPF planning for next generation capabilities.
Organize/support required meetings: CFP-FP, ICTs, OPTs, Operational Acceptance Panels, etc.
Provide SME review and coordinate with USSF Directorates and outside agencies regarding concepts of operations and operational issues regarding optimization of the Offensive and Defensive Space Control systems, testing, and security.
Provide SME review and inputs on DRs; enable appropriate prioritization for proper resource allocation. Develop briefings and point papers to address issues in support of HQ USSF tasks.
Monitor and provide unit/asset DRRS status to ensure compliance with HHQ direction and review and provide inputs for inclusion in the DRRS measurable areas and provide updates to readiness taskers to include updating Mission Directives.
Review System Training Plans (STP) and revisions of existing STPs for SEW newly acquired or modified systems.
Review and participate in USSF STP development and verify training plans comply with HQ SpOC S735T guidance. Review and comment on TSRA products used to develop STPs for SEW systems, capabilities under acquisition.
Required Experience
10+ years EW experience including 6+ years with any military service component HQ Staff, that operate in support of current/future EW/SEW/SDA mission areas.
Experience working in classified (SAP/SAR) space environment.
Joint operations planning and developing, coordinating tasking orders, concept of operations, security classification guides, special instructions, deployment orders, execution orders, etc.
Involvement at the tactical, operational, and/or strategic level experiences to military operations and planning with: Joint, Space, Electromagnetic Warfare, Information, and Intelligence for any Electromagnetic Warfare systems in military, commercial/civil, or academia.
DOTMLPF-P execution on complex project from inception to completion. Comprehensive experience in operating and providing support for the DoD in the Space Electromagnetic Warfare mission set.
In compliance with Colorados Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $115,000 to $125,000; however, Sigmatech considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, experience, education/training, key skills, location, and often contractual requirements.
