We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Transport Driver to safely and efficiently transport and deliver equipment between job sites. The driver will interact with customers upon delivery, ensuring timely and professional service. This position requires self-sufficiency in arranging travel logistics as needed and maintaining accurate expense records for cost allocation to projects.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Equipment Transportation: Safely load, transport, and deliver equipment between designated locations while ensuring compliance with all safety regulations
- Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service at the point of delivery, ensuring smooth handoffs and addressing any immediate concerns
- Travel Arrangements: Independently plan and arrange travel, including accommodations and transportation, as needed for deliveries
- Expense Management: Maintain detailed and accurate expense reports for each trip, ensuring proper allocation of costs to specific projects
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on the assigned vehicle to ensure roadworthiness
- Compliance & Safety: Adhere to all federal, state, and company transportation regulations, including hours of service and safety protocols
- Documentation: Maintain delivery logs, receipts, and any necessary paperwork to ensure accountability and project cost tracking
- Valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL) with tanker endorsement
- Proven experience in transport or delivery driving, preferably with equipment
- Ability to work independently and manage travel logistics efficiently
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills for expense tracking
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift and secure equipment as necessary
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation safety protocols
