Duties:
The Office Manager (“Manager”) is an integral member of Axiom’s Operations Department (“Ops”). The Manager will play a key role in completing operational support requests for various Axiom departments and should be able to communicate across multiple levels of the organization. The Manager will handle Axiom inventory and keep inventory operations smooth and efficient in the stock room, as needed. The Manager will be responsible for providing support to field operations, client communications and coordinating with internal and external customers throughout the process. This position is expected to report to the Woodlands office on a regular basis. Additionally, the Manager will have other duties and responsibilities as determined from time to time by the Director of Strategic Support.

Essential Functions:
The essential functions of the Manager are to:
  • Act as a primary support to the Executive team.
  • Manage and support conference and event travel/schedules.
  • Participate in weekly meetings with essential teams and/or individuals.
  • Meet established deadlines for rollouts, communicate updates to appropriate department(s).
  • Troubleshoot and close Fresh Service tickets, validate and input data within existing platforms.
  • Effectively communicate expectations to all internal and external customers.
  • Evaluate situations, establish priorities, and resolve matters with effective solutions.
  • Work with key departments to increase productivity and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Performs clerical duties involved in inventory control and office equipment maintenance
  • Designates method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates
  • Controls the outflow and inflow of inventory, as well as shipment, loading, and storage activities
  • Assists in developing and initiating control policies and procedures and in planning activities that relate to inventory control in the organization
  • Maintains accurate inventory levels

Qualifications:
The successful candidate should have a combination of demonstrated experience and education that is equivalent to 2 years with a focus on Project Management or related fields.
Physical Requirements:
  • Regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard reach,
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work,
  • Light to moderate lifting is required,
  • Ability to uphold the stress of traveling, less than 10%
  • Regular, predictable attendance is required.
