About This Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. This role is responsible for managing the company’s outgoing payments, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal policies and vendor agreements.

What You’ll Do

• Process high-volume vendor invoices and employee expense reports.
• Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices for accuracy.
• Ensure timely and accurate payment of vendor bills via check, ACH, or wire.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate and organized AP records and documentation.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and reporting.
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment issues.
• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  
  

What You’ll Bring

• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
• Experience in the construction or HVAC industry is a plus.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Viewpoint, or similar).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
