quality patient services. RT will represent the company in a professional and courteous manner in all interactions with the clients and patients.
Essential Job Functions
- Deliver and set-up respiratory equipment/services. Equipment includes but is not limited to: CPAP, BIPAP, suction unit, apnea monitor and ventilator.
- Demonstrate equipment and give proper training to patient/caregiver.
- Pick up equipment when use is disconnected.
- Clean and test equipment to make patient-ready.
- Answer patient phone calls and follow-up with patients, administrators, and physicians
- Assist warehouse team as needed.
- Pull supplies for mail delivery.
- Schedule appointments with patients
- Troubleshoot equipment as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Must participate in mandatory on-call and call-back program to respond to emergencies
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid California Respiratory Care Practitioner or Registered Respiratory Therapist license is required.
- 2+ years experience as a Respiratory Care practitioner required.
- Excellent organization, follow-up skills, and the ability to multi-task
- Demonstrated ability to listen and communicate in an empathetic manner
- Ability to communicate professionally and tactfully, both orally and in writing.
- Basic Insurance/ contract understanding
- Ability to read and understand sleep study reports
- Self-starter, motivated and detail-oriented
- Ability to resolve issues in a timely manner
- Adhere to all safety and compliance regulations
- Must possess a valid driver’s license in good standing
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed
