opportunity to join our team as a Child Care Health Consultant! In this

role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the health and safety of

children in childcare environments by providing hands-on services,

expert consultation, and dynamic training programs. Youll receive

specialized training aligned with the prestigious National Training

Institute for Child Care Health Consultants to equip you with the tools

needed to make a lasting impact in the community.

This position reports directly to the program manager and will immerse

you in a rewarding role where youll work alongside childcare providers,

families, and community organizations to enhance the quality of care for

children. Youll conduct assessments, provide expert guidance, and offer

referrals to vital health services, all while shaping policies that

promote excellence in childcare settings, including centers, family

childcare homes, shelters, and schools. If you have a passion for public

Essential Functions

As defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act, this

  • Coordinates program activities, timelines, and resources to ensure

efficient execution;

  • Collaborates with program managers to develop and maintain project

plans and work closely to meet program goals and objectives;

  • Tracks program progress, milestones, and deliverables, including

grant contracts;

  • Collects, organizes, and analyzes data related to program

performance, outcomes, and impact;

  • Assists in developing data collection tools, surveys, and assessment

instruments;

  • Supports community outreach efforts and participates in public

health education and awareness activities;

  • Leads community engagement efforts, including outreach, needs

assessments, and partnership development;

  • Assists in budget management, expense tracking, and procurement

activities;

  • Identifies areas for program improvement and assists in implementing

corrective actions;

  • May supervise support staff and execute performance plans and

individual development plans.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with a major

in business administration, public administration, public health,

healthcare administration or a related field as determined by the

department head at the time of recruitment AND two years of experience

coordinating, monitoring, and/or administering public health program

activities or providing administrative support for a program or

specialized work unit.**
