Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to join our Design Department in Los Angeles. This role reports directly to the Head of Interior Design and is ideal for someone with 2–4 years of experience in hospitality or restaurant construction, especially those skilled in material sourcing, FF&E coordination, vendor follow-up, and value engineering.

The Project Manager will work closely with the Head of Interior Design to execute the creative vision across multiple projects by managing timelines, pricing, procurement, and communication with vendors and consultants. This role is not responsible for setting design direction but is essential in ensuring that creative decisions are carried out effectively, on budget, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Head of Interior Design by translating approved concepts into actionable procurement and tracking workflows
  • Source and price materials, finishes, and FF&E; identify and present VE options for review by the design lead
  • Coordinate vendor follow-up, pricing requests, sample tracking, and procurement schedules across multiple projects
  • Maintain and update the office material library and finish palettes in support of the creative team
  • Review and organize design documentation (drawings, specs, finish schedules, shop drawings); ensure accuracy in formatting and alignment with approved direction
  • Track project budgets in coordination with Finance; provide cost comparisons and surface risks
  • Attend construction meetings and site visits; flag design execution issues for review by the Head of Interior Design
  • Assist in preparing spec books, sample boards, presentations, and documentation for client/ownership review
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, including design, operations, finance, contractors, and consultants
  • Support post-construction efforts including punch list follow-up, close-out documentation, and operational hand-off

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in project management for hospitality, restaurant, or high-end commercial interiors
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines concurrently
  • Demonstrated experience with material and FF&E sourcing, procurement, and vendor communication
  • Experience collaborating with interior designers, architects, and contractors to implement established design direction
  • Familiarity with value engineering and cost-conscious design execution
  • Comfortable working with interior design drawings, FF&E specifications, and construction documentation
  • Knowledge of construction administration processes and timelines
  • Excellent communication skills with internal teams and external vendors/consultants
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Excel, and project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Asana); familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Programa is a plus
  • Collaborative, resourceful, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
  • Willingness to travel as needed for job site visits and installations

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary: $65,000–$85,000, commensurate with experience
  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits
  • Opportunities for growth and career development
  • Annual performance reviews
