Summary: The Manufacturing Administrator is responsible for overseeing and executing all administrative tasks that support manufacturing operations. This role serves as the essential behind-the-scenes partner to the Production Manager, ensuring raw material availability, cost accuracy, and schedule alignment through meticulous planning and execution. The role's scope includes forecasting review, purchasing, scheduling, BOA creation and auditing, and inventory reconciliation. The Administrator's work ensures the production team can stay focused on on-floor execution, safety, and continuous improvement.

Essential Functions (include But Not Limited To)
- Review monthly manufacturing forecasts and convert them into actionable planning inputs.
- Procure raw materials in alignment with inventory needs and production plans.
- Create, update, and audit Bills of Assemblies (BOAs) to ensure accurate product structure and costing.
- Refine manufacturing schedules based on forecast updates, material availability, and capacity planning.
- Generate, issue, and manage work orders through to completion, including auditing of production managements backflushing for inventory accuracy.
- Conduct regular audits on BOAs and finished goods to ensure proper cost attribution and margin health.
- Monitor manufacturing KPIs and collaborate with other departments (procurement, planning, finance) to ensure seamless operations.
- Support ERP data integrity and lead system transactions related to materials and production.
- Identify and implement process improvements that enhance administrative efficiency in manufacturing.
Skills & Qualifications/Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and have IDs needed to verify
- Demonstrated aptitude of manufacturing administration, production planning, or supply chain operations
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems, particularly in work order management, inventory control, and material purchasing
- Familiarity with Bills of Assemblies, backflushing, and cost tracking
- Highly organized with strong problem-solving skills
- Able to thrive in a dynamic, cross-functional environment
- Computer savvy; proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel and related analytical tools
- English proficient (reading, writing, speaking, comprehension)
- Proven experience in procurement and sourcing, preferably within the bedding or related industry
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage supplier relationships effectively
- HS Diploma or GED
- Familiarity with foam, fibers, threads, and boxes sourcing is highly desirable
- Knowledge of quality assurance processes and standards
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with Bedgear branding and products is a plus
