The Role
As a Lead Associate, Data Support Analyst, you’ll be integral to our work in helping vulnerable children achieve a brighter future. You will play a vital role in maintaining data quality and integrity across Save the Children U.S.’s technology systems. This position ensures that data is clean, reliable, and well-managed to support effective decision-making and outreach efforts. You will collaborate closely with data stewards, BTS teams, and business partners to improve data literacy, implement quality checks, and develop technology solutions that meet organizational needs. By supporting accurate segmentation and campaign execution through the Blackbaud CRM platform, this role directly contributes to Save the Children’s mission of giving every child a healthy start, the opportunity to learn, and protection from harm.
This position is a 1 to 2 year assignment with the possibility of extension based on business needs.

What You’ll Be Doing (Essential Duties)

May be subject to change Support business partners with data-related support tasks such as data extraction for campaign outreach, data quality & validation tasks, and troubleshooting (45%) Use Jira Service Management (JSM) to manage tasks and communicate effectively with business partners Prioritize tasks effectively and apply strong attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and integrity across Save the Children’s systems of record. Collaborate on projects with team members, BTS colleagues, and business partners across the agency, providing data-related support & subject matter expertise (20%) Identify and address data integrity issues, build technology enhancements, conduct data maintenance to applications, and create technological solutions that will support business partners and audience stakeholders of Save the Children. Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve service delivery, data-related business processes, or data products. Work independently with minimal guidance to own and maintain a portfolio of BAU data quality and business support processes to be completed on a cyclical cadence. (15%)

What You’ll Be Doing (Essential Duties)
- Develop and leverage process subject matter expertise to support team members and colleagues on data-related tasks
- Maintain & develop process KPIs
- Ensure smooth team operations by providing process coverage for team members when needed
- Document principles, processes, and other areas surrounding data practices. (10%)
- Maintain process documentation for service and cyclical requests
- Draft documentation for new service and/or cyclical request
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent, plus at least 3 years of relevant experience
- Experience using Blackbaud CRM to create queries, exports, imports, segmentation, and marketing efforts.
- Proven experience analyzing data and drawing on subject matter expertise to troubleshoot issues
- Proven experience compiling business requirements and details into comprehensive and detailed documentation
- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and efficiently prioritize workload, to effectively manage evolving and conflicting deadlines and priorities.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a strong ability to identify inconsistencies or errors
- Demonstrated initiative and self-motivation; able to take action without needing frequent reminders
- Demonstrated ability to communicate information clearly and professionally with individuals and teams at all levels, both internally and externally
- Familiarity with Agile methodology, particularly the concept of sprints and story points
- Professional proficiency in spoken and written English
- Professional proficiency in MS Office suite (particularly Microsoft Access)
- At least one year of experience in a customer support role
- Experience with Jira and/or Jira Service Management to create & manage tickets, dashboards, and filters (to pull reports, etc.)
- Experience building automations using (including but not limited to) PowerQuery, Access, Power Automate, and/or SQL.
- Experience with marketing and /or fundraising campaign analysis
- Experience with non-profit development
- Understanding of data governance and data management principles
- Familiarity with working in a matrix team environment
Save the Children is offering the following salary ranges for this position, dependent on candidate location:
- Geo 1 - NY Metro, DC, and other locations with labor costs significantly above national average: Target Salary for this position is $66,300 – $74,100 base salary
- Geo 2 - Locations around the US National Labor Cost Average: Target Salary for this position is $60,350 – $67,450 base salary
- Geo 3 - Locations significantly below the US National Labor Cost Average: Target Salary for this position is $54,400 – $60,800 base salary
