We seek an ambitious pacesetter to join our team as an Electrical Engineer in Logan, Utah. You'll be a perfect fit if you have a passion for hardware development, excellent analytical skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Design electrical components and sub systems for the product development and hardware engineering teams. Create new designs for innovative fitness products. Develop complete HW solutions and BOM and assist in creating testing procedures for these designs. As well as supporting electronic equipment on existing devices. Reviews and approves new or revised designs, testing, or installation procedures. Ensures engineering projects are appropriately costed and on time and that project objectives are achieved. Possesses new product development engineering experience and knowledge. A background in developing consumer products is preferred but not mandatory. Will report to the Director of Electrical Engineering and regularly work with key stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities
- Electrical Engineer responsible for designing and developing fitness equipment in the iFIT Corporate office.
- Design of analogue and digital printed circuit board design.
- Display or tablet design.
- Utilize high-speed test equipment; oscilloscopes, data acquisition units, DMMs, logic & spectrum analyzers.
- Guide and oversee layout designers and provide clear layout constraints (board stack-up, component placement, high-speed routing, etc.)
- Design of high-speed mixed-signal circuits, schematic entry, PCB layout and assembly supervision, board debugging, and system integration. Analog and power supply and power management circuit design.
- Design of complex wiring harness assemblies considering EMI/EMC performance.
- Create Engineering Qualifications And Factory Test Plans.
- Provide technical oversight and review support to development teams during product design and development.
- Designing boards with ALTIUM or equivalent PCB layout tools (Cadence OrCAD Capture and Allegro, etc.)
- Power supply and power management design.
- Perform trade studies/tradeoff analyses
- Coordinate with other iFit internal departments to engineer and develop a product that Asian Contract Manufacturers will manufacture.
- Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and product validation activities to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, development and customer support, to provide feedback and input on product design, performance optimization, and design for manufacturability and low cost.
- Participates in establishing goals and metrics to measure effectiveness from the design through the production process.
