Description

Sunflower Bank, N.A. is looking for an energetic, highly motivated individual to fill the position of a full-time Mortgage Servicing Administrator at our Plano, TX location.

The Mortgage Servicing Administrator completes loan activities pertaining to loan set-up, payment processing, investor reporting, remitting and reconciling, and managing special loan processes such as ARMs and Service Release.

  • Perform new loan set-up and verification of loan data inputs into mortgage servicing system.
  • Complete escrow set-up for tax and insurance records.
  • Process ACH, on-line, and check payments and communicate with loss mitigation, foreclosure, and bankruptcy to correctly post borrower payments in default.
  • Maintain ACH payment set-up and account updates on a monthly basis for new and existing loans.
  • Process loan corrections and research borrower payment inquiries.
  • Manage service release transactions by meeting monthly deadlines, and state and federal laws and regulations. Complete loan level reconciliation of the loans released and coordinate with the correspondent lender to refund or recover any outstanding payments.
  • Manage ARM calculations and notifications by performing index validations and statement reviews.
  • Understanding of HELOC products, billing requirements, and servicing guidelines.
  • Oversee Mortgage Insurance tracking and processing for all Private Mortgage vendors and FHA Mortgage Insurance.
  • Provide a high level back-up by cross-training with the investor reporting and payoff departments.
  • Perform the job in accordance with applicable industry laws and regulations as well as the policies and procedures established by the company.
  • Responsible for upholding Fair and Responsible Banking practices and Code of Ethics and Conduct guidelines.
  • Understand and participate in the Bank’s Community Reinvestment Act program.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience Preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Direct mortgage experience, preferred.
  • Investor Reporting and Payment Processing experience, preferred.
  • Experience in high-volume data entry/processing.
  • Must possess strong organizational skills
  • Must be knowledgeable with Excel.

Pay is dependent on knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, and location.
