The Continuous Improvement Leader is responsible for driving overarching strategic direction, coaching and leadership on the implementation of continuous improvement efforts throughout Rehlko global plants and operational functions. This position requires an experienced lean transformation leader with a broad cross-functional background, with demonstrated success in driving improvements across operational processes, functional capabilities and transactional business processes. Specific Responsibilities
- Drive a Continuous Improvement culture within Rehlko 0perations, defining and prioritizing opportunities and the execution of a lean transformation strategy and metrics.
- Train/Coach employees at all levels of the organization on the tools and methods that support a continuous improvement culture.
- Deploy an operating playbook, management system which includes a daily management discipline, visual management, root cause analysis and countermeasure tracking.
- Collaborate with divisional leaders to create a change management methodology that incorporates magnitude, readiness, communication, and leadership modeling. This includes partnering with leaders and Enterprise Operational Excellence to ensure that change management gates and milestones are established and adhered to.
- Mentor a team of embedded plant CI Leaders across global operations, ensuring consistent execution of business processes and objectives.
- Lead events and workshops across the business.
- Create, champion, lead CI steering team, including development of Kaizen pipeline across all functional areas. This includes ensuring success and sustainment measures are in place, visible and embedded in the business operating cadence.
- Assist the design and implementation of balance scorecard to measure KPI performance.
- Advanced skills in the use of data management tools to monitor progress toward goals.
- Actively participate in strategy deployment.
- Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, process management, operations, industrial engineering, or engineering management.
- Preferred, graduate degree in engineering, business or an MBA concentrating in Business Administration, Educational Management, Project Management, Accounting, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in process optimization, operations, or business management; Continual Improvement Process, Kaizen, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing.
- 5+ years of plant management experience
- Proficiency in lean and/or TPS tools including value stream mapping, 5S, standardized work, continuous flow, Kanban, heijunka, TPM, performance analysis.
- Significant experience in enterprise-wide lean manufacturing implementation with demonstrated positive impact to the organization.
- Certifications in quality, lean six-sigma belt, black belt.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Predisposition to teach / lead continuous improvement philosophies

- Project management
- Manage cost reduction projects using DMAIC methodology
