Sooner Sports Properties is looking to add a high impact team member who will focus on navigating the property through Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL). This position will be an integral part of executing student-athlete influencer marketing for the University of Oklahoma Athletics.

In this role, you will support Sooner Sports Properties with NIL deal activation for brand partners. The NIL Partnership Solutions Coordinator will be asked to manage all inventory elements for NIL activation and provide proof of performance to brand partners. This role will report to the Manager of Partnership Services, who leads the NIL activation efforts of our LEARFIELD team embedded at Oklahoma. This role will also have key relationships with the Oklahoma Athletic Department staff.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as liaison between corporate partners, property staff, Athletic Department and collective where applicable
  • Support activation of NIL deals and ensuring student-athletes participate and fulfill activation obligations with brand partners at fair market value
  • Oversee all inventory management tracking related to NIL deals, including what has been proposed, sold and remains available, to include weekly reports and internal meeting updates
  • Assist with Sooner Sports Properties, gameday operations, including home football games and other home events
  • Stay informed on NIL news, including student-athlete deals across the country, legislation changes (at State and National levels), and ongoing trends.
  • Act as the Sooner Sports Properties representative in internal Learfield corporate NIL discussions
  • Complete other sales, fulfillment and operations responsibilities as assigned by the sports properties team
  • Must be able to work 40 hours per week including home games, select sporting events, NIL appearances and activations that occur outside of traditional work hours

Minimum Qualifications

  • Excellent communication, problem solving, organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Able to develop and maintain strong relationships across many demographics
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Sports / NIL / College Athletics and/or sponsorship
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
  • High level of initiative and continuous learning mindset
