Job Duties
Product Catalog & Merchandising Strategy
- Support and execute merchandising strategies based on sales data, inventory levels, seasonal trends, and customer behavior analytics.
- Support and maintain product categorization, taxonomy, and navigation structures for the customer. Optimizing user experience and product discoverability.
- Recommend and optimize product page elements including titles, descriptions, images, pricing, and cross-sell/upsell recommendations using A/B testing methodologies.
- Coordinate product launches with promotional campaigns, ensuring setup across all digital touchpoints with emphasis on conversion optimization.
- Design and optimize category page layouts, filters, and sorting options to enhance user experience and product discovery.
- Implement personalization strategies based on customer segmentation, purchase history, and browsing behavior.
- Optimize mobile commerce experience with focus on touch-friendly navigation and streamlined checkout processes.
- Collaborate with customer service team to address product-related customer feedback and improve digital experience.
- Analyze product performance metrics including conversion rates, click-through rates, add-to- cart rates, and revenue per visit to identify optimization opportunities.
- Monitor and report on key ecommerce KPIs such as average order value, units per transaction and product page bounce rates, and abandon cart rates.
- Conduct regular competitive analysis of product positioning, presentation, and promotional tactics across cannabis retail landscape.
- Track and optimize product search functionality, including search result relevance, zero-result queries, and search-to-purchase conversion rates.
- Collaborate with analytics team to develop custom dashboards and automated reporting for merchandising performance.
- Partner with Buying and Planning and Marketing team to implement dynamic pricing strategies and promotional structures to maximize revenue while maintaining competitive positioning.
- Coordinate with the Buying Planning team on new product introductions, ensuring launches and product highlights where applicable.
- Consult on product content creation and optimization, including product descriptions, specifications, compliance information, and SEO-friendly copy.
- Audit and manage digital asset workflow for product photography, videos, and graphic elements across all platforms.
- Ensure compliance with cannabis advertising regulations while maximizing product appeal and conversion potential.
- Coordinate with creative team on promotional banners, category pages, and seasonal merchandising displays.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Merchandising, or related field
- 3+ years of ecommerce merchandising experience with demonstrated success in conversion rate optimization.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Google Analytics, Excel, BI Data Visualizations
- Understanding of SEO principles as they relate to product pages and category optimization.
- Knowledge of A/B testing methodologies and conversion rate optimization best practices
- Experience with ecommerce analytics tools such as Google Analytics 4, heat mapping software, and conversion tracking
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and reporting
