The Custodian Job
- Performs minor daily maintenance, such as replacing light bulbs, adjusting furniture, or other similar activities.
- Reports to plant manager for additional tasks as needed.
- On demand cleaning throughout the building as needed
- Trash removal
- Performs maintenance for the external safety of the building in all weather - icing walkways, snow removal, clearing debris, weed control
- Set up and take down for events, furniture moving
- Regularly lifts and carries packages and trash
- Walks up and down stairs regularly
- Participates in whole staff professional development
We seek outstanding people with the following qualifications:
- Experience working in a school preferred
- Able to find creative solutions to operational challenges
- Proficient in email
- Strong team orientation
- Weekly meetings with a manager who supports you
