Role Summary

The Warehouse Coordinator at Kings River Packing, LP, based on-site at Produce Depot in Vineland, NJ, is responsible for managing inbound and outbound logistics, inventory accuracy, and overall warehouse coordination to support efficient operations. Reporting to the Import Manager, this role plays a critical part in the day-to-day handling of products and materials. The Warehouse Coordinator will work closely with the warehouse team, including regular coordination with the Sales and Marketing team on the West Coast, to support and align business operations across locations.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with vendor trucking companies regarding inbound ETAs, delays, and unloading schedules at the warehouse.
  • Verify that arriving product matches the ERP system; address and report any discrepancies to the Import Planner /EC Manager upon arrival.
  • Update product availability in the KRP ERP system.
  • Apply charges related to container arrivals.
  • Notify the third-party QC vendor (Deco) of container arrival and availability for inspection.
  • Ensure third-party inspections comply with company quality standards.
  • Report any quality issues to the EC Manager and Import Planner.
  • Issue repack work orders to the warehouse.
  • Conduct quality assurance (QA) checks to ensure repacked products meet customer standards.
  • Prepare repack inspection reports, including photos of quality issues, finished product images, and loss percentages.
  • Report quality issues and product shortages to the EC Manager and Import Planner.
  • Record repack activity and material usage in the KRP ERP system.
  • Provide the warehouse with pick tickets for all outbound shipments.
  • Assign pallet tags to outbound orders.
  • Conduct QA checks to ensure outbound pallets meet customer specifications.
  • Record outbound shipments in the KRP ERP system.
  • Track and record Chep pallets and Recorder shipments by outbound orders.
  • Perform daily warehouse inventory checks and reconcile discrepancies with the ERP system.
  • Conduct end-of-month physical inventory counts.
  • Coordinate material arrivals and report discrepancies to the Packaging Coordinator.
  • Assist with end-of-month material inventory counts.
  • Work with the Packaging Coordinator to address material shortages and initiate new material orders.
  • Process purchase order (PO) receipts in the KRP ERP system.
  • Issue OSP receiving tickets to the warehouse.
  • Verify and report discrepancies in OSP arrivals to the Supply Specialist.
  • Process OSP receipts in the KRP ERP system. (Famous)?
  • Coordinate with sheds on Bird Dog inspections.
  • Provide the Sales Department with updates or concerns regarding load times and estimated completion times.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, agriculture, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics, inventory management, or supply chain operations within the agricultural or perishable goods industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience using ERP systems; proficiency in Famous software preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Alignment with the company’s mission and core values.
  • Onsite work schedule Monday – Friday with flexibility as needed.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
