What will you be doing?
The Successful Candidate Will Be Expected To
- teach the equivalent of two to three undergraduate units in Classics and Ancient History each year, focused on Greek and Roman History and Culture.
- supervise and mark undergraduate dissertations.
- take an active part in administrative processes, including Open Days and Post-Offer Visitor Days.
- act as personal tutor.
- conduct research in your chosen field.
- collaborate with the Director of the Research Institute for Sociotechnical Cyber Security (RISCS) on complementary research.
- You have completed or nearly completed a PhD in Classics, Classical Studies, Ancient History, or a related field.
- You have a track record or clear plans for research publication in your field.
- You have a track record in teaching in the field at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels.
