Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Analyst to support the procurement and inventory operations of our cabinet manufacturing business. This role is responsible for ensuring timely ordering, tracking, receiving, and quality-checking of components and materials, as well as maintaining visibility into supply needs using Kanban cards.

This role is responsible for ensuring timely ordering, tracking, receiving, and quality-checking of components and materials, as well as maintaining visibility into supply needs using Kanban cards.
Position Responsibilities
- Place purchase orders with approved suppliers for raw materials, hardware, and components.
- Monitor open orders to ensure timely delivery and update order status in supply chain systems.
- Receive incoming shipments, validate delivery contents against purchase orders, and ensure accuracy.
- Inspect product quality upon receipt and escalate issues to vendors when items do not meet established standards.
- Communicate with suppliers regarding discrepancies, damaged goods, delays, and corrective action plans.
- Track and manage kaizen cards to maintain appropriate inventory levels and prompt reordering of key supplies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality control, and warehouse teams to ensure alignment across supply needs.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by recommending process optimizations and participating in lean initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in supply chain management, business administration or related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and excellent oral and written communication skills
- 2+ years of experience in a supply chain or procurement role, ideally within a manufacturing environment
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Understanding of quality control practices and vendor compliance requirements
- Desire to learn about cabinet construction and woodworking machinery
