The Oklahoma Accountancy Board was established in 1917 to safeguard the public welfare by prescribing and assessing the qualifications of and regulating the professional conduct of individual registrants and registered firms authorized to engage in the practice of public accounting in the State of Oklahoma. About The Role

This role will be responsible for assisting the Licensing Coordinator and the Exam Coordinator. This position is the first line of contact for office phones calls including licensing and exam calls. It will assist with the simpler tasks in both departments and also be in charge of the government auditor list.

Responsibilities

  • Act as first licensing and exam contact for calls.
  • Act as general operator for office calls which are not routed through the phone system.
  • Document returned mail within registrant/firm profile.
  • Assists with mailing (if applicable) reciprocal certificates, new registrant's certificates, and duplicative certificates.
  • Upload deposited renewal payments and processed paper renewals to WebX.
  • Processes online individual & firm renewals which are not auto-approved for various reasons, to include appropriate follow-up correspondence as needed.
  • As needed, assist the Exam Coordinator in processing candidate exam scores, uploading candidate documents to WebX after Board meeting, and processing name changes and changes of address for candidates.
  • Review residency documentation for individual renewals.
  • Process government audit forms and renewals

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 1 years of administrative experience, preferably in a governmental setting.
  • Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in written form
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
