Job Description

Mission Support and Test Services, LLC (MSTS) manages and operates the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS) for the U.S. National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA). Responsibilities

MSTS is seeking a Senior Business Process Analyst to support the Project Controls Applications Group (PCAG). The position will report directly to the Project Controls Manager for PCAG.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct analysis of business information systems using applied knowledge and principals (e.g., Systems approach or Six Sigma methodology) and creates solutions to resolve problems.
  • May establish and manage small teams (including sub-contractors) to coordinate project tasks, such as development, testing and end-user training.
  • Coordinate and perform testing, and system techniques and controls.
  • In collaboration with the Information Technology and/or Project Management organizations, manage small to medium size projects to define requirements.
  • Collect, assemble and analyze requirements to meet the needs of the organization.
  • Define, plan, execute, monitor, control, and successfully completes discrete elements of scope in compliance with defined schedule, costs, risk, and quality.
  • Meet with process owners and team members to ensure all requirements are met and makes recommendations for improvements.
  • May act as a liaison to the Information Technology Division.
  • Support the load of weekly actual costs into the Project Controls Reporting System (PCRS) and COBRA.
  • Support PCAG Support tickets including but not limited to push Baseline Change Requests (BCRs) from Change Control to Production.
  • Be the Project Controls Help Desk support for user issues related to Project Controls systems such as Primavera P6, COBRA or PCS Selector Modules (Funds Management, WBS, VAR, and BCR).
  • Assist with the month-end Archive process – including archive of both COBRA and Primavera P6.
  • Assist with the JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) Transition required for capital asset line-item project reporting to DOE Headquarters through the Project Assessment Reporting System (PARS).
  • Lead automation efforts such as company templates and forms.
  • Champion efficiency through assisting with software upgrades including Primavera P6, COBRA and PCS Selector Modules.
  • Perform other duties assigned by Management.

Qualifications

Due to the nature of our work, US Citizenship is required for all positions.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business-related field and at least 5 years of professional level experience or equivalent training and experience.
  • Preferred knowledge in the following areas: data analytics, critical thinking, problem solving, creativity, inquiry skills, innovation, collaboration, communication, and adaptability.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word), Deltek Cobra (or similar system), Primavera P6 (or similar system), and Oracle FUSION (or similar system) as well as proficiency with Cobra and Primavera P6 Administration.
  • Ability to manipulate large amounts of data with minimal errors.
  • Communication and organization skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Must be detail-oriented.
  • The primary work location will be at the Losee Road facility in North Las Vegas, Nevada.
  • Work schedule for this position will be 4/10’s, Monday – Thursday (subject to change).
  • Pre-placement physical examination, which includes a drug screen, is required. MSTS maintains a substance abuse policy that includes random drug testing.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Ability to obtain a HSPD-12 Personal Identity Verification credential under the Department of Energy Order 206.2, ‘Identity, Credential, and Access Management,’ and Supplemental Directive NNSA SD 206.2, ‘Implementation of Personal Identity Verification for Uncleared Contractors.’

Annual salary range for this position is: $78,832.00 - $118,248.00.

Starting salary is determined based on the position market value, the individual candidate education and experience and internal equity.
