This position is a member of our Central Texas regional staff.
Heres What Youll Be Doing
Greet visitors and direct them to appropriate areas within the division; maintain effective communication with internal and external customers, providing responses to routine program information. Keep information regarding Agency policies and procedures updated and assist with planning and scheduling activities for the section.
Maintain tracking databases; record keeping and filing systems. Update Water Right webpages with new and pending application information. Review, track, and route Executive Director Sub delegation documents for processing.
Answer and screen phone calls, take messages, provide general information, and refer calls to appropriate staff and areas in the division; and greet visitors.
Receive, distribute, and track incoming mail, electronic mail, and other documents. Enter information into databases and develop, coordinate, and maintain tracking databases, record keeping, and filing systems.
Key Qualifications
Experience organizing and/or maintaining databases, records and/or filing systems.
Experience inputting administrative or technical data into computer databases and systems.
Experience interacting with the public, media and/or regulated community.
Qualifications: REQUIRED EDUCATION EXPERIENCE
Graduation from a standard senior high school or its equivalent plus five years of full-time experience providing administrative support in an office setting.
Fifteen semester hours from an accredited college or university may be substituted for each six months of the required experience with a maximum substitution of four years.
OR
Two years as an Administrative Assistant IV at TCEQ.

Work Schedule
Standard business hours are M-F, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Individual and work group schedule determined by the TCEQ Waco Region Office.
