What You’ll Be Doing
- Edit mini-documentaries, visually striking montages, technical demos, social sizzles, and more—always with a focus on story, style, and polish.
- Integrate advanced motion graphics and compositing into your edits, not just as decoration, but as storytelling tools.
- Collaborate with directors, writers, 3D artists, sound engineers, and creatives from concept to final cut.
- Learn from experts in cutting edge fields of science and technology, asking questions and helping shape their stories for a range of audiences.
- Explore and apply generative AI tools to elevate our creative output.
- Deliver great work under high-stakes, high-pressure situations for every screen, from mobile to arena.
- Able to work on-site at Santa Clara HQ as needed.
- 8+ years of relevant work experience
- BA/BS or equivalent experience.
- A demo reel or portfolio that showcases your creative and technical range.
- Mastery of Adobe Premiere and After Effects, with a strong proficiency in the entire Adobe Creative Suite.
- Color grading experience (Lumetri or Resolve)
- Experience with AI production tools
- Experience with live production, working under tight deadlines
- Familiarity with digital asset management software
- Proficiency in deeply technical problem solving (tearing down PCs, deploying NAS, crafting new workflows from scratch, etc.)
