Description

Skorpios Technologies, Inc, an innovator in composite silicon photonic technology and semiconductor development, is rapidly expanding. We are in search of a hard-working and motivated Program/Project Manager to add to our growing team.

The Program/Project Manager will collaborate with a team of Engineers, Designers, and Managers to understand user’s needs and requirements. This information will be used to build and improve upon a variety of applications and solutions. The Program/Project Manager is responsible for the execution of all aspects of a project to ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with technical and contractual requirements, schedules and budgets. The Project Manager is the focal point for the company for communications with the customer (internal / external) and is responsible for ensuring customer requirements are flowed down to all functional departments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional development projects through phase-gate processes into high-volume production.
  • Deliver projects on time and within budget, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Monitor and evaluate project performance to ensure successful achievement of both short- and long-term objectives.
  • Prepare and present project updates and technical content in customer meetings.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and budget using structured verification and control techniques.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks through proactive risk management strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with leadership to strengthen and grow a high-performing Program Management team.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or Technology Management required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project or equivalent project management tools
  • Experience with PSA, ERP, CRM, or similar enterprise system
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Results driven

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or PMI certification preferred
  • Familiarity with manufacturing environments
  • Detail oriented, positive friendly customer service are key attributes.
  • Computer knowledge and skills, i.e. MS Office Suite – Word, Power Point and Excel is required.
  • Basic understanding of lean and six sigma principles and methodologies.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment
