Description
Position Overview:
This position is classified as full-time, Non-Exempt Typical days and hours of work are 1st shift / Monday to Friday, (6:00 am to 4:00 pm). This position regularly requires long hours and occasional weekend work.
Verifies paperwork on incoming and outgoing shipments, and prepares finished product for shipment.
Principal Duties And Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
Count, weigh, and/or measure material on all incoming or outgoing shipments; prepare metal for packaging by cleaning and deburring; prepare stenciling templates and mark all metal using stenciling equipment; assemble wooden or cardboard containers, securing boxes or packages for shipment; use strapping devices to secure packages for shipment; affix shipping labels on boxes or packages; use forklift or other moving equipment to stage shipments or load trucks; adhere to personal and facility safety procedures and practices. Other duties as required.

Qualifications & Skills:
- Must be able to closely follow instructions and read shipping documents.
- Must be able to communicate, verbally and written, with managers and coworkers.
- Must maintain quality practices and safety standards.
- Must be forklift operations and safety certified.
- Must be able to work overtime as required.
