We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Director to lead strategic growth initiatives in the commercial construction sector. This role is responsible for identifying and cultivating relationships with decision makers, driving revenue growth, and aligning business development strategies with company goals. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a proven track record in commercial construction sales and a passion for building long-term partnerships.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead Strategic Growth: Design and execute business development strategies aligned with company goals and market trends.
• Build Relationships: Identify and engage key decision-makers across target markets.
• Sales Leadership: Drive the sales pipeline from lead generation through contract negotiation and closing.
• Stay Ahead: Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to inform smart, agile decisions.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with preconstruction, marketing, and project executives to deliver exceptional client experiences.
• Track Success: Set and measure KPIs to ensure consistent performance and growth.
• Be the Face of Miller Davis: Represent us at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Architecture/Engineering, Sales & Marketing, or related field.
• 8+ years of business development or sales experience (commercial construction preferred).
• A strong network and a proven track record of closing high-value deals.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strategic mindset with a goal-oriented, energetic, and poised approach.
• Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite.
