Operations Project Manager

Zurich Legacy Solutions (part of “Group” structure) is currently hiring an Operations Project Manager, and this person will work in a hybrid schedule out of our North America HQ in Schaumburg, IL. The role engages with stakeholders across Zurich North America, and this is an opportunity to work on a global scale.

Responsibilities:

• Manages ongoing portfolio review meetings to assess performance of business for management.
• Develop monthly/quarterly management review presentations via interactions with key stakeholders in claims, reinsurance, loss recovery services, finance, and actuarial functions.
• Manages and maintains all project planning in appropriate software platforms and company online platforms.
• Process map core functions for deal migration with internal and outside stakeholders.
• Prepare appropriate presentation decks for committees and executive teams.
• Support vendor management compliance via internal risk policy.
• Develop risk profiles on business functions and conduct meetings with local and regional CRO teams to monitor risk matrix.
• Assist with regulatory audits and internal audits.
• Assist with complex contractual review for vendor deployment and/or deal management.
  
  

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Insurance or Operations area OR
• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in the Insurance or Operations area AND
• Knowledge in organizational design and development
• Experience leading organizational change.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Insurance industry experience
• PMP or working toward designation.
• Project management software experience
• Jira and MS Project experience
• General ledger or general accounting/operational experience
• Advanced Microsoft Office experience
• 6 or more years of systems related experience related to one or more of the following areas: General ledger, financial reporting systems, Business Objects or other query tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem solving, presentation and analytical skills.
  
  

At Zurich, compensation for roles is influenced by a variety of factors, including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. Additional rewards may encompass short-term incentive bonuses and merit increases. We encourage candidates with salary expectations beyond the provided range to apply as they will be considered based on their experience, skills, and education. The compensation indicated represents a nationwide market range and has not been adjusted for geographic differentials pertaining to the location where the position may be filled. The proposed salary range for this position is $85,500.00 - $140,000.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 15%.
