Infrastructure and Security Lead

La Terra Fina seeks a technically skilled Infrastructure and Security Lead to oversee and advance our hybrid infrastructure and cybersecurity posture. Based in Union City, this role will ensure system reliability, network performance, and information security across cloud and on-prem environments. This role is crucial in protecting company assets, ensuring compliance, and supporting enterprise systems, such as Oracle Fusion Cloud. Requirements

Infrastructure and Network Management

• Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of network, server, and cloud infrastructure across multiple locations
• Ensure optimal operation of Microsoft 365, Azure AD, VPNs, Wi-Fi, firewalls, switches, and backups
• Perform regular capacity planning, performance tuning, and system patching
• Support Oracle Fusion Cloud infrastructure integrations and upgrades
  
  

Cybersecurity Strategy & Execution

• Own endpoint protection, identity access management, MFA, firewall policy, email security, and anti-phishing initiatives
• Conduct regular vulnerability scans, lead incident response efforts, and maintain threat detection systems (e.g., Rapid7)
• Ensure alignment with cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS Controls) and support audits and compliance reporting
• Lead the implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity plans
  
  

Vendor & Project Management

• Manage relationships and contracts with MSPs, cloud hosting providers, ISPs, and cybersecurity vendors.
• Lead infrastructure and security projects: firewall upgrades, zero-trust architecture, backup solutions, etc.
• Ensure proper escalation paths, SLA adherence, and vendor accountability
• Team Leadership and Collaboration
• Mentor junior IT team members and support cross-functional coordination on infrastructure and security requirements
• Collaborate with ERP, data, and application teams to ensure infrastructure alignment with business systems
• Document infrastructure architecture and SOPs for maintenance, onboarding, and recovery
  
  

Required Knowledge & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, network engineering, or systems administration
• 3+ years in an IT security or technical lead role
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, and enterprise backup systems
• Hands-on knowledge of firewall management, endpoint protection, and vulnerability scanning
• Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, CEH, Microsoft Azure Administrator, Network+, or Security+
• Familiarity with Oracle Fusion Cloud or similar ERP platforms a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• This is a 100% on premises role. We are located in Union City, CA
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Frequently requires sitting for extended periods at a computer
• Occasionally required to lift up to 25 lbs, access server racks, and move IT equipment
• Must be able to respond quickly during emergencies, including after-hours or weekend escalations

Salary Description

$140,000 to $160,000
