The opportunity
Based in North America and reporting to the Manager of Pricing and Contracts, this position will be primarily responsible for performing pricing analyses on products sold at Anda, monitoring the competitive landscape, and reviewing sales trends to identify opportunities to maximize revenue and gross margin. All of which are highly complex, manual and pressured in the current industry environment of consolidation, and price erosion. This position will specifically support our commercial initiatives for Anda Pharmacy Sales inclusive of brand and generic pharmaceutical drugs, pet medications, and consumer products for two locations (Florida and New York) and a remote sales force in California.

How You’ll Spend Your Day
- Performs daily product reviews and changes by leveraging pricing software and analytical tools in order to find opportunities to increase revenue, profitability
- Closely monitors assigned products in order to identify opportunities based on volume performance and/or market changes, data accuracy, and performs price adjustments as needed
- Performs changes to multiple product indicators to ensure revenue and margin preservation, ensuring data accuracy across the product portfolio
- Communicates and collaborates with Sales, Purchasing, Contracts teams in order to sustain and improve revenue, profit and data accuracy of Anda products
- Monitors pricing software and other information with a high level of detail in order to quickly and timely determine product/pricing outcomes with a high level of confidence and accountability
- Support pricing managers in pricing data analysis, operations, optimization, problem resolution
- Prepares customer bid recommendations taking into consideration various pricing factors such as market data, sales trends, inventory levels, seasonality, and product costs
- Performs price overrides in a fast, transactional environment, leveraging data and facts
- Prepares documentation for new product launches
Your experience and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field (Business, Economics) OR HS Diploma AND 2+ years of equivalent work experience
- Master’s degree in Business, Economics is preferred
- 3+ years experience in a highly transactional, processing setting, preferably pricing oriented
- Pharmaceutical industry pricing experience with large customer base and product portfolio, or comparable line of business (i.e: commodities, pricing in large retail or B2C/B2B distribution business)
