Adult Day Habilitation

Waystone is looking for a Clinician whose passion lies in supporting the behavioral needs of Individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). As our Behavioral Health Clinician, you will be working with individuals aged 22 and older with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), and Dementia/memory loss.

Location: 22 Parkridge Road, Haverhill, MA 01835

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00am-4:00pm. No weekends or on-call. This position is benefit eligible as of the date of hire.

Compensation range: This is a 40-hour, exempt full-time position. The annualized salary will be $69,680 – $82,160. This is not Fee-for-Service.

As our Behavioral Health Clinician, you will be part of an interdisciplinary team that includes nurses, SLP’s, PT’s, OT’s, ABA Technicians and direct support professionals. Job Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct counseling and behavioral support, tailored to individual needs.
  • Model and train staff to implement behavioral strategies and protocols effectively.
  • Design and oversee behavioral plans, including PBS plans, restrictive interventions, and biopsychosocial approaches, supported by consistent data collection and reporting.
  • Promote mental wellness through proactive engagement with staff and program managers.
  • Manage and coordinate crisis support in collaboration with internal and external providers.
  • Build and maintain positive, trust-based relationships with individuals and their families.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field

Or

Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience.

  • Licensure or eligibility for licensure within 30 days of hire as LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, BCBA, etc.
  • Experience with adults with developmental disabilities or brain injuries strongly preferred.
  • Solid foundation in ABA principles and behavior modification techniques.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing Positive Behavior Support strategies.
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing with minimum of 1 year driving experience
